The ten cent plague has been great! I'm really enjoying it, mostly because it paints a vivid picture of all of the people involved. I'm about half way through it.

It sounds like you had a really good con too, Ralph, even though our circles didn't cross much after the panel Thursday night.

I want to see the pictures from Tilted Kilt!

Good report, Sean. I too find myself inspired after the convention. Time to dust off the drawing pad.

Did you like the 10 Cent Plague book? If so, I'll make you a copy of the author's talk on C-Span from a couple years ago.

Dang! First Hal Jordan!!! Way to pull the trigger! I bought a lot of sketchbooks but no Golden Age Cap books this year, sadly.

That Terry Dodson book is great. He is working on the sequel. Easily his best work and he did the colors too.

Yes, my comic-con experiences are changing too as I get shut out of the big events and now have fun just hanging out with friends. I spent more time away from the con this year than any other year. And slept in a lot. I just can't do 7am lines anymore. At least 3 days I arrived in the afternoon, as late as 4pm even.

Sorry I missed the Chillax party Sunday night. I didn't discover Scott's text message until Monday and the girlfriend and I drove over to Coronado Island and had dinner at the historic hotel there on the beach. Very romantic.

After last year, I wasn't sure if I was gonna come back again. After this year, I am sold. This convention was awesome. It was great to meet and hang out with you, Trevor.

It was a great weekend! I had a blast hanging out with everybody, learning about a lot of areas of comics I hadn't even thought about before. San Diego is definitely the grand-daddy. It's amazing what happens when 200k comics creators, dealers, and fans basically take over a town for a week.

Hopefully I'll get to go to another SDCC soon.
